Farewell to Cain of "Bottoms Up!"

Bottoms Up! This is a hard post to write. Only recently have I, and I suspect other Sex Bloggers, have come to be acquainted with Cain of "Bottoms Up!"; when just as quickly, we are seeing farewells from him. His farewells have come after only a month or so of having comments from him and his Sugasm posts. I quickly sent back an email to him. Then, browsing the 7 (!) blogs that he keeps, I found the reason for his parting in the post "Music is Magic...". Cain has Marfan's Syndrome (see below about Marfan Syndrome).

Needless to say, I am shocked and saddened to hear of Cain's illness. Cain our thoughts, blessings and prayers are with you. Thank you for sharing your life and experiences with us. Interacting with each other in blog posts, emails, and comments, we get to know pieces of each other. Thank you for getting to know us. Thank you for letting us know you. Our hearts transcend the ether to witness the life of another. Thank you, Cain. Farewell. Truly.

Cain Cain still comments here and there. I am listing his blogs below, which are also listed on his Blogger profile: Cain.

About Marfan Syndrome (from the National Marfan Foundation (www.marfan.org))

What's Marfan syndrome? The Marfan syndrome is a heritable condition that affects the connective tissue. The primary purpose of connective tissue is to hold the body together and provide a framework for growth and development. In the Marfan syndrome, the connective tissue is defective and does not act as it should. Because connective tissue is found throughout the body, the Marfan syndrome can affect many body systems, including the skeleton, eyes, heart and blood vessels, nervous system, skin and lungs.

The Marfan syndrome affects men, women and children, and has been found among people of all races and ethnic backgrounds. It is estimated that at least 1 in 5,000 people in the United States have the disorder. For more detailed information, read an excerpt from the NMF booklet The Marfan Syndrome

Thank you, so much, for this.

~~It's been a difficult decision, because I was truly enjoying the blogs. Real life, friends, can catch you up, and this time, I really needed to go.

Anyone who has read my blogs over the course of two years knows how many times I've come & gone.

~~I won't say "goodbye"...

only, farewell.

~~Love you,

BB/cain.
